You may be surprised but Warsaw was distinguished for the most beautiful city beaches in the world by National Geographic magazine. Even though the city is located more than 300 km from the polish coastline, you can still enjoy sandy beach and water-related activities along the Vistula’s riverside. There’s plenty of places in which you can enjoy summer afternoons and experience the best nightlife in all Poland.
Right side of the river:
This side of the river is very special due to its greenery, sand and beautiful panorama of the Old Town. The main spot is Poniatówka Beach, located just under the Poniatowski Bridge, next to the National Stadium. It’s great place for chilling and sunbathing, but also you can play volleyball and other sports. You’ll find spots to make barbecue and fireplace. If you move north, you’ll reach La Playa club, where you’ll find outdoor fun with zumba or salsa workshops. Palm tree coctails, thatched huts and colorful decoration add to the party-at-the-swiminnig pool vibe of the place.
Left side of the river:
As Warsaw is getting more beautiful each year, there are a lot of new places to visit. This summer we inaugurated the opening of Vistulan Boulevards. It’s the most visited place during the warm, summer nights. Here you can have some drinks and party till dawn. Just walk from one bar to another, change the barges and meet locals. See the party line ups and hit one of these recommended places: Hocki Klocki, Cud nad Wisłą, BarKa, Plac Zabaw or Pomost 511.
